Nostalgie Paris

Nostalgie Paris sits in the tail of France's 710 entries. The tail is the part of a directory that goes missing first, and it is the part worth keeping: the head of every country's list is the same handful of national broadcasters, and everything that makes a dial local is behind them.

One recorded open in the public directory. That is a trace rather than a measurement, and it is the reason this page describes where the station sits rather than how popular it is.

The country page counts nostalgie among its commonest tags, and this station is one of the 7 entries in France behind that count. Worldwide the tag leads 8 stations, which makes the rail below a very wide shelf.

The audio comes from streaming.nrjaudio.fm, and 63 other stations in France are served from the same address. That is a streaming platform carrying many broadcasters rather than a station running its own server, which is worth knowing for a practical reason: when a platform has a bad night, a whole block of France's listing stops answering at once and nothing is wrong with any of the stations in it.

Nostalgie Paris keeps its own site at nostalgie.fr. The address sits under France's country code, which lines up with where the directory says the station broadcasts from.
