The directory lists nine streams in Germany under this name, told apart by a number alone. This page is number one. Nothing here is taken from the other eight.
Position 587 of 1,409 puts this station in the middle of Germany's directory presence. The middle is worth browsing precisely because the ordering has stopped sorting by fame and has not yet stopped sorting at all.
Four recorded opens in the public directory. That is a trace rather than a measurement, and it is the reason this page describes where the station sits rather than how popular it is.
At 64 kbps this is one of the lowest rate streams on Germany's dial, whose median is 128 kbps. It will hold a connection almost anywhere, which is the tradeoff being made.
The format here is AAC+, against a listing for Germany overwhelmingly made of MP3. Both play in a browser; the difference shows up in how much quality survives at a given bitrate, where AAC has the advantage at lower rates.
Its audio comes from 1a-2000er.radionetz.de. One other station in Germany streams from the same host, which is a smaller sharing than the big platforms and often means the same people run them all.

1 A - 2000er von 1A Radio is one of 3,099 playable stations the catalogue lists in Germany, and one of the smaller number that say where in the country they transmit from.
These are counts of what people did inside the public radio-browser catalogue and the apps that read it, over the whole life of the entry. They are not our own figures and they are not an audience measurement: most entries in this catalogue sit under five all-time plays, so a small number here means the catalogue has little to say about this station rather than that nobody listens to it.
Broadcast by 1 A - 2000er von 1A Radio. Stream served directly by the broadcaster.
Listed in the directory as - 1 A - 2000er von 1A Radio. The heading above is that entry with the web address, the trailing keyword list and the block capitals taken out of it, which is a change to the spelling and to nothing else.
This address is a second listing of the same station in the same country. 1 A - 2000er von 1A Radio is the entry the directory records more plays against, so it is the one we ask search engines to index. This page keeps working and the stream on it is the one listed here.
Station details come from the public radio-browser directory and are reproduced as recorded there. If you run this station and something here is wrong, or you would rather the page did not exist, write to us from the support page and we will fix or remove it.
