Among the 1,409 stations in Germany with pages, 1 A - Rock von 1A Radio is around the halfway mark. Anything in this stretch is reachable from the country's numbered pages rather than from its front table, which is why those pages exist.
With three recorded opens, 1 A - Rock von 1A Radio sits in the part of the directory where the numbers stop discriminating. The station's position in Germany's list should be read as approximate for exactly that reason.
The gap here is large: 64 kbps where Germany's stations typically run 128. Rates at this level were designed for dial-up and for mobile data that was billed by the megabyte, and plenty of stations simply never changed the setting.
1 A - Rock von 1A Radio streams in AAC+ while most of Germany's dial is MP3. Codec choice is mostly invisible to a listener, and it is one of the clearest fingerprints of which hosting provider a station uses, since providers default their customers into a format and few customers ever change it.
The stream is served from 1a-rock.radionetz.de, which no other entry in Germany uses in this snapshot. Nothing else in the listing shares its fate: if this address stops answering it is this broadcaster's own outage, and if it plays, it plays.

1 A - Rock von 1A Radio is one of 3,099 playable stations the catalogue lists in Germany, and one of the smaller number that say where in the country they transmit from.
These are counts of what people did inside the public radio-browser catalogue and the apps that read it, over the whole life of the entry. They are not our own figures and they are not an audience measurement: most entries in this catalogue sit under five all-time plays, so a small number here means the catalogue has little to say about this station rather than that nobody listens to it.
Broadcast by 1 A - Rock von 1A Radio. Stream served directly by the broadcaster.
Listed in the directory as - 1 A - Rock von 1A Radio. The heading above is that entry with the web address, the trailing keyword list and the block capitals taken out of it, which is a change to the spelling and to nothing else.
Station details come from the public radio-browser directory and are reproduced as recorded there. If you run this station and something here is wrong, or you would rather the page did not exist, write to us from the support page and we will fix or remove it.
