Antenne Bayern - Bayern Sound

Antenne Bayern - Bayern Sound is deep in Germany's listing, at 1176 of 1,409. Down here the ordering barely orders anything: the difference between one position and the next is often a single recorded open, so treat the neighbours below as a shelf rather than as a ranking.

The language on this entry does not appear in Germany's language breakdown at all. The hub counts the country's six commonest and Bavarian is behind them, so Antenne Bayern - Bayern Sound is outside the national picture on the axis the site indexes hardest.

Bavarian is not large enough in this snapshot to have a shelf of its own here, so the station's only index is its country. Shelves are built from the directory's commonest broadcast languages and the line has to fall somewhere; below it, the country hub is the route.

The audio comes from stream.antenne.de, and 11 other stations in Germany are served from the same address. That is a streaming platform carrying many broadcasters rather than a station running its own server, which is worth knowing for a practical reason: when a platform has a bad night, a whole block of Germany's listing stops answering at once and nothing is wrong with any of the stations in it.
