Remix & Partybreaks

Out of 1,409 entries in Germany, this one ranks 65. The upper quarter of a national list is an interesting place to be: well known enough to have accumulated opens, not so well known that it is the station everybody already had.

Remix & Partybreaks has 30 recorded opens in the public directory, which is a real number by the standards of this data set. Most entries never reach double figures, so a count at this level means the stream has been found and played repeatedly by people using directory clients rather than the broadcaster's own site.

Remix & Partybreaks broadcasts in German, which is the language most of Germany's stations in the directory use. The country's listing records six languages in total, so the German stations are the body of the dial rather than the whole of it.

192 kbps, which puts Remix & Partybreaks above the 128 kbps that a typical entry in Germany runs at.

Its audio comes from stream.breakz.fm. Four other stations in Germany stream from the same host, which is a smaller sharing than the big platforms and often means the same people run them all.

The station's own site is rm.fm. The .fm domain has nothing to do with FM radio or with where a station is: it belongs to the Federated States of Micronesia and has been sold to broadcasters worldwide for years, so read it as branding rather than as a location.
