VOX FM

VOX FM sits at 12 of 22 in Honduras' listing, in the body of the list rather than at either end. This is where most of a national dial actually lives, and it is the part a country hub's first fifty rows never reach.

The open count against VOX FM is two, which is enough to know the stream has been played through the directory and not enough to compare it with anything. Small counts are the normal case out here, and a ranking built from them separates stations by luck as much as by interest.

Only two entries in Honduras put pop first. The tag is self-declared and inconsistent between countries, which is why the rail below is worth more as a way of wandering than as a filter.

The gap here is large: 64 kbps where Honduras' stations typically run 128. Rates at this level were designed for dial-up and for mobile data that was billed by the megabyte, and plenty of stations simply never changed the setting.

Its audio comes from ice42.securenetsystems.net. Two other stations in Honduras stream from the same host, which is a smaller sharing than the big platforms and often means the same people run them all.
