The directory states no bitrate for this stream, so there is nothing to draw here. The field is filled from what a stream's own server announces when it is scanned, and plenty of servers announce nothing.
At position 357 of 565, this is one of the stations in India that almost nobody arrives at by browsing. That is the case for having a page at all. A station reachable only by knowing its name is a station most directories lose.
Broadcasting in Malayalam from India, alongside 55 other stations there doing the same. Hindi is the country's commonest broadcast language in this directory, so this is the second shelf of a bilingual listing.
Where else Malayalam is on air, according to the same snapshot: mostly Bahrain. The shelf lists all 57 of them together, which is the view a country hub cannot give.
AIR Devikulam publishes an HLS stream. That is a modern and perfectly good way to broadcast, and it is also why the button on this page may not start it: HLS needs a player that can read a playlist and fetch segments, which a browser audio tag does not do on its own.
31 of India's entries are served from air.pc.cdn.bitgravity.com, this one among them. A shared host means a shared fate. If this stream is silent, the fastest check is not this station's own site but whether its neighbours on the same platform are playing.

AIR Devikulam is one of 571 playable stations the catalogue lists in India, and one of the smaller number that say where in the country they transmit from.
These are counts of what people did inside the public radio-browser catalogue and the apps that read it, over the whole life of the entry. They are not our own figures and they are not an audience measurement: most entries in this catalogue sit under five all-time plays, so a small number here means the catalogue has little to say about this station rather than that nobody listens to it.
Broadcast by AIR Devikulam. Stream served directly by the broadcaster. Their own site is at akashvani.gov.in.
Station details come from the public radio-browser directory and are reproduced as recorded there. If you run this station and something here is wrong, or you would rather the page did not exist, write to us from the support page and we will fix or remove it.

The extension handles the stream shapes a browser refuses, and carries 20,000+ stations from every country while it is at it. It sits in the toolbar and keeps playing between tabs.
