Funky Disco Radio

Broadcasting in English from Italy, alongside 51 other stations there doing the same. Italian is the country's commonest broadcast language in this directory, so this is the second shelf of a bilingual listing.

English radio in this directory sits largely in United States, United Arab Emirates and United Kingdom, with 5,984 stations on the shelf in total. This page's station is one of the entries that make the shelf wider than any single country.

Funky Disco Radio is the only station in Italy whose first tag is classic hits 60s 70a 80s, out of 400 with pages here. Tags come from the broadcasters themselves, so this says the station describes itself in a way no other entry in Italy does, which is a narrower and more honest claim than saying it is the country's only classic hits 60s 70a 80s station.

The audio comes from stream.laut.fm, and 15 other stations in Italy are served from the same address. That is a streaming platform carrying many broadcasters rather than a station running its own server, which is worth knowing for a practical reason: when a platform has a bad night, a whole block of Italy's listing stops answering at once and nothing is wrong with any of the stations in it.
