Oldies98

Oldies98 sits in the tail of Italy's 400 entries. The tail is the part of a directory that goes missing first, and it is the part worth keeping: the head of every country's list is the same handful of national broadcasters, and everything that makes a dial local is behind them.

Oldies98 has a zero in the directory's open count. It is the least interesting number on this page and the one most likely to be misread, so it is worth being plain: it measures traffic through radio-browser, not audience.

The directory records no language for Oldies98. That gap is common and it is upstream of this site: broadcasters fill the field or they do not, and roughly a third of the stations with pages here have left it empty. It means the station appears on its country hub and not on any language shelf, which is the one place the omission costs it.

192 kbps, which puts Oldies98 above the 128 kbps that a typical entry in Italy runs at.

Oldies98 streams from nr14.newradio.it:8775. No other station in Italy is served from that address, and across the whole directory it appears one time in total.

Their site is oldies98.it, a domain registered in Italy. Where a station's own address and its listed country agree, the entry is a little more trustworthy than one where they do not.
