Radio 80 Afro

Radio 80 Afro sits at 212 of 400 in Italy's listing, in the body of the list rather than at either end. This is where most of a national dial actually lives, and it is the part a country hub's first fifty rows never reach.

Two recorded opens in the public directory. That is a trace rather than a measurement, and it is the reason this page describes where the station sits rather than how popular it is.

Nothing else in Italy's listing leads with disco. The tag is self-declared, which makes it a statement of how the broadcaster positions itself rather than a classification anyone audited, and on this dial that statement is unique.

Radio 80 Afro streams at 192 kbps, above Italy's median of 128 kbps. It sits with the 70% of the country's stations that reach 128 kbps or better, which is the line this site uses for a stream worth listening to properly rather than in the background.

The stream address on this entry points at sphera.fluidstream.eu, which is where 9 other stations in Italy are served from as well. Platforms of that size carry the long tail of a country's dial, and they are the reason a listing can look broken when it is one host having a quiet hour.
