Radio Effe Italia

Radio Effe Italia sits in the tail of Italy's 400 entries. The tail is the part of a directory that goes missing first, and it is the part worth keeping: the head of every country's list is the same handful of national broadcasters, and everything that makes a dial local is behind them.

The directory records no opens at all for Radio Effe Italia. That is a fact about the directory rather than about the station: a stream nobody has opened through radio-browser can be perfectly healthy and well listened to on its own site or on a radio. It does mean this page is where the station's directory history starts.

The catania corner of Italy's dial is three stations deep in this snapshot. Small clusters like that are usually the most rewarding thing on a country page, because they are what the national broadcasters at the top of the list are not.

192 kbps, which puts Radio Effe Italia above the 128 kbps that a typical entry in Italy runs at.

The stream is served from nr11.newradio.it, which no other entry in Italy uses in this snapshot. Nothing else in the listing shares its fate: if this address stops answering it is this broadcaster's own outage, and if it plays, it plays.
