Top Radio 102.8

Held against the 10 stations in Madagascar on this site, this one is in the leading three. The order is the directory's count of stream opens rather than anybody's judgement, which is worth saying because a leading position on a list like this reflects habit as much as anything else.

The directory records no language for Top Radio 102.8. That gap is common and it is upstream of this site: broadcasters fill the field or they do not, and roughly a third of the stations with pages here have left it empty. It means the station appears on its country hub and not on any language shelf, which is the one place the omission costs it.

The stream runs at 128 kbps, level with Madagascar's median. Bitrate stops being interesting once a station is at the local norm, and the useful question moves on to whether the stream stays up, which no snapshot can answer.

Its audio comes from listen.radioking.com. One other station in Madagascar streams from the same host, which is a smaller sharing than the big platforms and often means the same people run them all.

The broadcaster's own site is facebook.com. A .com address says nothing about where a station is, which is why the country on this page comes from the directory's own country field rather than from the domain.
