OUi Radio Rodrigues

In Mauritius' ordering this is number 9 of 14, which is the middle of the list. The stations either side of it are a better guide to what the country sounds like than the head of the list is, because the head is the same few famous streams in every country.

With two recorded opens, OUi Radio Rodrigues sits in the part of the directory where the numbers stop discriminating. The station's position in Mauritius' list should be read as approximate for exactly that reason.

The directory records no language for OUi Radio Rodrigues. That gap is common and it is upstream of this site: broadcasters fill the field or they do not, and roughly a third of the stations with pages here have left it empty. It means the station appears on its country hub and not on any language shelf, which is the one place the omission costs it.

At 128 kbps this is a typical stream for Mauritius by the one measure the directory carries.

Its audio comes straight from mu1stream.mushost.com:8554, an address unique to this entry in Mauritius' listing. That is the simplest case there is, and it is the one where pressing play tells you the whole truth about whether the station is on air.
