Piano Covers

Position 280 of 471 puts this station in the middle of Russia's directory presence. The middle is worth browsing precisely because the ordering has stopped sorting by fame and has not yet stopped sorting at all.

The open count against Piano Covers is two, which is enough to know the stream has been played through the directory and not enough to compare it with anything. Small counts are the normal case out here, and a ranking built from them separates stations by luck as much as by interest.

Piano Covers shares its leading tag, каверы, with two other Russia entries. Across every country the directory has 3 stations leading with it, so the rail below is mostly a trip abroad.

The gap here is large: 64 kbps where Russia's stations typically run 128. Rates at this level were designed for dial-up and for mobile data that was billed by the megabyte, and plenty of stations simply never changed the setting.

Its audio comes straight from pub0201.101.ru:8443, an address unique to this entry in Russia's listing. That is the simplest case there is, and it is the one where pressing play tells you the whole truth about whether the station is on air.
