At position 336 of 487, this is one of the stations in Spain that almost nobody arrives at by browsing. That is the case for having a page at all. A station reachable only by knowing its name is a station most directories lose.

iCat FM broadcasts in Catalan from Spain. That is a minority language on the national dial, where Spanish leads, but not a small one: 66 stations in Spain in the directory carry Catalan, which is a substantial second listing inside the first.

The Catalan shelf on this site collects every station in the language regardless of where it transmits from, and the directory's Catalan entries are concentrated in Andorra. Reading the shelf next to this page is the quickest way to see how far the language's dial actually reaches.

The gap here is large: 56 kbps where Spain's stations typically run 128. Rates at this level were designed for dial-up and for mobile data that was billed by the megabyte, and plenty of stations simply never changed the setting.

The stream is served from shoutcast.ccma.cat, an address three other entries in Spain use as well. A small shared host is usually a group of stations under one owner or one technical provider rather than a platform.
