IdòFM

IdòFM sits in the tail of Spain's 487 entries. The tail is the part of a directory that goes missing first, and it is the part worth keeping: the head of every country's list is the same handful of national broadcasters, and everything that makes a dial local is behind them.

IdòFM has a zero in the directory's open count. It is the least interesting number on this page and the one most likely to be misread, so it is worth being plain: it measures traffic through radio-browser, not audience.

The country's dial has two sizeable languages on it and this station is on the smaller one. 66 entries in Spain broadcast in Catalan, against a listing whose commonest language is Spanish.

The Catalan shelf on this site collects every station in the language regardless of where it transmits from, and the directory's Catalan entries are concentrated in Andorra. Reading the shelf next to this page is the quickest way to see how far the language's dial actually reaches.

Hip-hop and rap oldies is the station's own leading tag and no other entry in Spain uses it that way. Worth reading as self-description: the directory takes tags as broadcasters type them and does not reconcile them.
