Italiana FM

This is one of the quieter entries in Spain's listing, at 337 of 487. Stations at this depth are usually community, religious or single genre broadcasters rather than national networks, and the country's numbered pages are the only route to them.

With one recorded open, Italiana FM sits in the part of the directory where the numbers stop discriminating. The station's position in Spain's list should be read as approximate for exactly that reason.

No language is recorded against this station. The field is optional in the public directory and a great many entries skip it, so an empty language says nothing about what you will hear when you press play. It does keep the station off the language shelves, since a shelf built on guesses would be worse than a shelf with holes.

Among 487 stations in Spain here, this is the only one that puts classic first. The classic rail below therefore leaves the country entirely, which is the more interesting direction to travel from a page like this.

Its audio comes straight from online.radioplayer.ua, an address unique to this entry in Spain's listing. That is the simplest case there is, and it is the one where pressing play tells you the whole truth about whether the station is on air.

The station's site is at online.radioplayer.ua, which sits under the .ua country domain rather than Spain's. That mismatch is usually mundane, a host or a parent organisation registered elsewhere, and it is the kind of small inconsistency worth seeing rather than smoothing over.
