Radio Svea

Radio Svea is deep in Sweden's listing, at 90 of 94. Down here the ordering barely orders anything: the difference between one position and the next is often a single recorded open, so treat the neighbours below as a shelf rather than as a ranking.

Radio Svea has a zero in the directory's open count. It is the least interesting number on this page and the one most likely to be misread, so it is worth being plain: it measures traffic through radio-browser, not audience.

Broadcasting in English from Sweden, alongside 55 other stations there doing the same. Swedish is the country's commonest broadcast language in this directory, so this is the second shelf of a bilingual listing.

Where else English is on air, according to the same snapshot: mostly United States, United Arab Emirates and United Kingdom. The shelf lists all 5,984 of them together, which is the view a country hub cannot give.

The stream address on this entry points at mml2.prostream.se, which is where 13 other stations in Sweden are served from as well. Platforms of that size carry the long tail of a country's dial, and they are the reason a listing can look broken when it is one host having a quiet hour.
