绵竹综合广播

绵竹综合广播 says general broadcasting in Chinese characters. A name that describes its own programming is worth reading rather than skipping, because it is a fact stated by the broadcaster rather than a tag added by whoever filed the entry into China's listing.

Rank 237 of 391 in China. What that mostly measures is how many people have already found the station through this directory, which is a poor proxy for anything else and an honest one to publish.

绵竹综合广播 leads with full service, a tag 27 other stations in China use and one the country hub lists among its headline genres. If the country's sound is what brought you here, this is squarely part of it.

The directory carries no bitrate for 绵竹综合广播. The field is filled from what the stream's own server reports when it is scanned, so an empty one usually means a server that answers without announcing itself rather than a bad stream. China's stations that do report come in at a median of 128 kbps, for whatever that is worth as a guess.

The stream address on this entry points at lhttp.qingting.fm, which is where 46 other stations in China are served from as well. Platforms of that size carry the long tail of a country's dial, and they are the reason a listing can look broken when it is one host having a quiet hour.

The nearest thing to this entry in China is 南平综合广播. They are not the same station, and these are the facts the catalogue holds that tell them apart. They are filed in different parts of the country: this one under Szechuan, that one under Fukien. The two streams are served from different addresses, lhttp.qingting.fm for this one and lhttp-hw.qtfm.cn for the other.
