SomaFM Digitalis (128k MP3)

The directory lists two streams in the United States under this name, told apart by a number alone. This page is number three. Nothing here is taken from the other one.

SomaFM Digitalis (128k MP3) is deep in the United States' listing, at 1073 of 1,481. Down here the ordering barely orders anything: the difference between one position and the next is often a single recorded open, so treat the neighbours below as a shelf rather than as a ranking.

With one recorded open, SomaFM Digitalis (128k MP3) sits in the part of the directory where the numbers stop discriminating. The station's position in the United States' list should be read as approximate for exactly that reason.

The station's leading tag is alternative rock, shared with 14 other entries in the United States. It is a well populated tag here without being one of the country's defining ones, which is a common and unremarkable place for a station to sit.

32 of the United States' entries are served from ice5.somafm.com, this one among them. A shared host means a shared fate. If this stream is silent, the fastest check is not this station's own site but whether its neighbours on the same platform are playing.
